Editorial Reviews

A Way to Connect draws readers in with great examples for complex concepts, showing that language learning and language teaching are alive, ever changing, and fun! It empowers teachers to empower their students with the gift of always being 'seekers' for more knowledge.
--Ellen Lewin, ESOL and English Instructor, Minneapolis Community and Technical College

What a treasure-trove of valuable information! A Way to Connect is readable and practical, full of the kinds of valuable tidbits new teachers depend on as they set off in thier new profession. Randall Gwin lays a solid base of information with a voice of experience... This is the kind of practical handbook that can help to make the early years of teaching manageable instead of overwhelming.
--Andrea Poulos, College of Arts and Letters, University of Wisconsin-Madison

...fresh and immensely practical. After reading many, many TESOL books, and teaching overseas for over a decade, I rank it at the top of the list of usable and reusable EFL teaching resources. If you want a nice book to sit on your shelf, do not buy this one: this is a book to use!
--Jay Neuharth, M.A. TESOL, English Teacher and Teacher Trainer, Kyrgyzstan
